Tirzepatide
Tirzepatide is a once-weekly GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide) receptor and GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) receptor agonist, representing a new class of medicines studied for the treatment of obesity. Tirzepatide is a single peptide that triggers the body’s receptors for GIP and GLP-1, two natural incretin hormones.
GIP has decreased food intake and increased energy expenditure, resulting in weight reductions. Combined with a GLP-1 receptor agonist, it has a more significant effect on glucose and body weight effects.

The Doctor will discuss the advantages and drawbacks with each medication and give guidance on what the best medication is for you. It is common for someone to start on one ingredient and switch. Please provide any feedback and input to the Doctor if you have been on any of these medications before and if you had any positive reactions or negative side effects. Trust the Doctor to guide you through the process.
Every patient is different. It depends on your starting condition and your goals and how your body responds to the medication. Your lifestyle will be an indicator. The MD will see how you are doing and will adjust the dosage. If there are any side effects, you might be switched to a different active ingredient and go off the program altogether.
There are several health risks that could disqualify you from being a candidate. You will see a list of the major ones prior to paying and scheduling your appointment. However, with the questionnaire you fill out prior to your visit, the MD will quick be able to recognize whether you are a strong candidate or if you should look towards other avenues for your weight loss goals.
The consultation is $50 and the cost of medication varies. Your $50 consultation fee will be applied to the medication. Thereafter, you will be placed on a subscription for medication sent to you every 30 days based on your requirements.
